Sophie Turner Workout Routine

English celebrity Sophie Turner started her acting career with Game of Thrones. She was around 14 when she landed the role of Sansa Stark on Game of Thrones. Since the show’s premier in 2011, she has played the said role gaining prominence and acclaim for her performance. This led her to land roles in the movies, too. She made her feature film debut in Another Me. She next starred in the movie Barely Lethal. Her most mainstream thus far is as Jean Grey in the movie X-Men: Apocalypse. She has starred on the TV movie The Thirteenth Tale. She has also been featured in the music video of the single “Oblivion” by Bastille.

The 20-year-old actress may be young, but she’s already taking her fitness regimen seriously. She kind of also needs to since she’s a main character on Game of Thrones. With this she needs to be physically fit for her role. With her starring role as Jean Grey on X-Men: Apocalypse, the young actress also worked hard to prepare herself physically and mentally. Her trainer said he had Sophie perform “circuits with weights ranging from 22 to 35 pounds, focusing on swings, plank rows, and overhead presses.”

In addition, Sophie trained by doing boxing, burpees and resistance sprints. The actress didn’t mind doing all these. As she said: “I needed to get in shape—and quick!” For six times a week, she would work out for an hour. Her routine was varied, which she liked rather than just exercising in the gym. She said: “It was all outside, around London, which was more fun than being cooped up in a gym. I need to do fun stuff that takes my mind off the fact that I’m working out.” Despite her young age, Sophie likes focusing on her fitness, saying: “Exercise has made me feel more positive about my body, less self-conscious.”
