Katherine Parkinson is an English actress. She had her career beginnings in 2005, initially guest-appearing in Ahead of the Class, Casualty, and Extras. She then played the role of Pauline Lamb in the British medical series Doc Martin. In 2006, she made her film debut in Hard to Swallow. She next had performances in the films Easy Virtue, How to Lose Friends & Alienate People, The Boat That Rocked, and St. Trinian’s 2: The Legend of Fritton’s Gold. From 2007 to 2009, she starred in the comedy series Katy Brand’s Big Ass Show. In the 2010s, Parkinson starred as Kim Hall in the TV drama In the Club. She became further known for her starring role as Laura Hawkins in the sci-fi series Humans. Recently, she starred as Caroline Bratt in the sitcom Defending the Guilty.
