Actress Juhi Chawla‘s career in Bollywood spans decades. She made her acting debut in the 1986 film Sultanat and came to prominence with 1988’s Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak. For her role in the latter, she won the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut. By the ’90s, she cemented herself as a leading lady in Bollywood with performances in Lootere, Aaina, Darr, and Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke, for which she won Best Actress at the Filmfare Awards.

She also starred in the box-office hits Deewana Mastana, Yes Boss, and Ishq. In the 2000s, she explored more cinematic themes and gained acclaim for her work in the movies Jhankaar Beats, 3 Deewarein, and My Brother Nikhil. The following decade, she had notable performances in the films I Am and Gulaab Gang.

Apart from her work in the Hindi cinema, Chawla also starred in many Punjabi films, including Shaheed Udham Singh, Des Hoyaa Pardes, Waris Shah: Ishq Daa Waaris and Sukhmani – Hope for Life. On television, she appeared as a judge in the dance reality series Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.

In an interview, Juhi Chawla’s fans were able to have a glimpse on how she takes care of herself. Her healthy habits actually begin in the morning, which makes it easier for her to continue making healthy choices throughout the day. “The first thing I do every morning is drink 3-4 glasses of water. I have been doing this since I was 15 years old,” said the actress.

She’s also big on meditation like yoga, and swears by doing daily stretches, which she considers an important part of her lifestyle. “I sit facing the morning sun and do all my stretches and yoga exercises. Some breathing exercises and meditation too. Every alternate day, I do pilates,” she shared.
