Bollywood star Fatima Sana Shaikh had her career beginnings in the 1990s as a child actress. During this period, she appeared in the films Ishq, Chachi 420, and Bade Dilwala. She also appeared in the 2001 film One 2 Ka 4. In the late 2000s, she returned to acting with the 2008 film Tahaan. In the 2010s, the actress had performances in the Hindi feature films Bittoo Boss and Akaash Vani. She went on to make her Telugu debut in Nuvvu Nenu Okkatavudam.

Her breakthrough role was as Geeta Phogat in the biographical sports drama film Dangal. For this, she won the Best Debut (Female) at the News 18 Movie Awards and Best Action Actress at the Jackie Chan Action Movie Awards. Following this, she starred in the 2018 movie Thugs of Hindostan. She has two upcoming films this year. In addition, Shaikh has also appeared in some shows. She had a special appearance in Best Of Luck Nikki, as well as joined the regular cast of the television series Ladies Special. She also guest-starred in Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo.

Fatima Sana Shaikh works out and works hard when it comes to her fitness. Whenever she needs to prepare for a movie role, she increases the intensity and frequency of her physical training, which includes sports training as well. “My sports training has actually been specified by my movie options, however, when I’m not on the task, my exercise regimen is based upon things that delight me. I can’t do the very same thing every day,” said the actress.

“Apart from practical training, I practice kick-boxing 3 times a week, and, on other days, dance. I do not have a specific regimen, although I train routinely. I’ve stopped pressing myself. I simply wish to be delighted about working out. When kick-boxing, I train with young boys. Because I am competitive, I take pleasure in taking on them.”
