Hollywood star JoAnna Garcia got her career beginnings in the early 1990s. Her first notable role was as Sam in the series Are You Afraid of the Dark?. She next had recurring roles in Party of Five and Freaks and Geeks. In the 2000s, she gained further success after landing the role of Cheyenne Hart-Montgomery in Reba. During this period, she also started her film career. She had roles in the movies Not Another Teen Movie, American Pie 2, A-List, and Extreme Movie.

After Reba, she landed the lead role of Megan Smith in the short-lived series Privileged. In the 2010s, she starred in the short-lived sitcom Better with You and played Ariel in Once Upon a Time. She next starred as Betty Grissom in the show The Astronaut Wives Club. Her latest television role was as Amy in the comedy-drama series Kevin (Probably) Saves the World. She has also appeared in the movies The Internship and Fist Fight.

The 39-year-old actress maintains her overall health and fitness by working out as regularly as possible. Despite her acting projects and the fact that she’s a mother of two, she’s able to squeeze in some time for her to exercise. She does so not only to stay in shape but to also keep her strength and energy in place. So, what’s her secret to looking svelte and simply fabulous?

One of the things she did after giving birth was to attend barre classes. Since then, she swears by this workout. “Working out made me feel sexy again. Like, ‘Oh my god, That’s what my butt feels like!” she said. According to her, her barre classes were able to help her tone her butt. Aside from this, the actress also swears by yoga and Pilates, which she does a few times a week.
