Jimmy Bennett is an American actor. He started his career in 2002, debuting in an episode of Strong Medicine. The following year, he made his film debut with a voice role in The Jungle Book 2. He next had roles in such movies as Daddy Day Care, Springtime with Roo, The Heart Is Deceitful Above All Things, and Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy. He then landed acting parts in more films, including Hostage, The Amityville Horror, Firewall, Poseidon, and Evan Almighty. In 2009, he played the Young James T. Kirk in Star Trek, as well as starred as Daniel “Danny” Coleman in the horror film Orphan. In the 2010s, he starred as James “JJ” Powell, Jr. in the TV series No Ordinary Family. His latest role on the small screen was as Mojo in Amazon’s Bosch. His most recent work in the movies was in 2017’s Heartthrob.
