Jillian Rose Reed Workout Routine

Jillian Rose Reed

Jillian Rose Reed started a career on television. After appearing as an extra, she landed the part of Simone in the Showtime series Weeds, which she played between 2008 and 2009. After this, she had one-episode roles in some TV shows, including Hung, Community, and The Middle. She later successfully landed the part of Tamara Kaplan in the MTV series Awkward. This marked her first starring role on the small screen, which also became her breakthrough role.

The show aired on television for five seasons from 2011 to 2016. At the same time, she had performances in the films Age of Dinosaurs and Confessions of a Womanizer. She also worked in some short films, as well as acted in the TV movies My Super Psycho Sweet 16: Part 3 and Whats So Scary About Common Core. In 2016, she ventured into voice acting where she plays Naomi Turner in the Disney series Elena of Avalor. More recently, Reed also had guest appearances in Daytime Divas and Lucifer. In the movies, her latest role was in 2018’s Sharon 1.2.3.

Even at a young age, Reed has always been active. “Definitely for career purposes, to be at the top of my game for auditions. And for health. I know I’m young, but I want to take the steps now for a healthy lifestyle,” she said when asked why she keeps fit. As for the Jillian Rose Reed workout routine, she revealed:

“I do as many fun activities as possible. A lot of hiking, beach bike riding and walking. And cardio barre, which is a dance-based workout at a ballet barre. It’s a full-body workout for one hour on Monday, Wednesday and Friday in a studio. I have a background in dance, so I know how to move my body in the way [instructors] want you to move it. I love cardio barre.”
