Denis O’Hare is an American actor. His career started in the 1990s. During his early years, he had guest appearances on such shows as Law & Order and New York Undercover. In 1997, he made his film debut in St. Patrick’s Day. He became more active the following decade, appearing in several films. This includes 21 Grams, Derailed, Half Nelson, A Mighty Heart, Michael Clayton, The Babysitters, Charlie Wilson’s War, and Changeling. He later portrayed John Briggs in the biographical film Milk. He also became known for his recurring character Travis March on the ABC drama series Brothers & Sisters. He later played Judge Charles Abernathy on The Good Wife and Russell Edgington on True Blood. He was then acclaimed for his performance as Larry Harvey on American Horror Story: Murder House. He has since starred in the subsequent seasons of the show.
