Hollywood actor Jason Lewis got his acting start in the mid-1990s. He made his debut in the TV series High Sierra Search and Rescue. He next played Rob Andrews in Beverly Hills, 90210. Meanwhile, his first movie role was in Next Stop Wonderland. In the 2000s, he gained recognition for his role as Jerry “Smith” Jerrod in the HBO series Sex and the City. Afterward, he played Dex Lawson in Charmed and Chad Barry in Brothers & Sisters.

Also in the 2000s, he had roles in the films The Jacket, My Bollywood Bride, Mr. Brooks, and The Death and Life of Bobby Z. He also reprised his role as Smith Jerrod in the film Sex and the City and its sequel Sex and the City 2. After playing Christopher Dollanganger in the Lifetime films If There Be Thorns and Seeds of Yesterday, he joined the main cast of the series Midnight, Texas as Joe Strong. He started playing said role in 2017. He’s also starred in the films Running Wild and Half Magic.

The 47-year-old actor takes care of his body and overall wellness by being active. And by being active he means doing all kinds of sports and other activities, not just hitting the gym. “My philosophy is: Play yourself fit,” he said. The former model said he loves “surfing, mountain biking, snowboarding, kite surfing, yoga, and stand-up paddleboarding”.

He went on to say: “Being engaged in a lot of different activities that draw your interest can be much more psychologically uplifting and rewarding. Not just, you know, go to the gym, but go ride your bike one day of the week to work. Go play a volleyball game or something and have these different points of interest. Because anything done over and over and over again can become dull and boring and tedious.”
