Jacqueline MacInnes Wood Workout Routine

Jacqueline MacInnes Wood

It was in 2006 that Canadian beauty Jacqueline MacInnes Wood started her acting career. Her debut was in an episode of Runaway. She went on to star in the TV movie Nightmare at the End of the Hall. She next appeared in the Disney XD movie Skyrunners, as well as in the MTV movie Turn the Beat Around. From 2008 to 2013, she became known for her portrayal of Steffy Forrester in the soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful. In 2011, she made her cinematic debut as Olivia Castle in the movie Final Destination 5. She next starred in the Lifetime TV movie Her Husband’s Betrayal. In 2015, she resumed playing the role of Steffy in The Bold and the Beautiful. She has received Daytime Emmy Award nominations for her work in the said show.

To stay in shape, the actress follows a fitness routine regularly. In an interview, she got candid about how she stays active not only to stay slim but to also maintain her health and wellness in general. She said: “I have an early-morning workout session with my trainer at 9 A.M. We’re doing squats and heavy lifting. For heavy lifters or for anyone working out in the morning, you need to eat prior to your workout so your body can focus on growing muscles and not digesting, which kills your energy.”

She also makes sure she eats right so she has enough energy to work out. She explained: “It’s important to have protein within a half hour to an hour after you work out so your muscles can grow and strengthen—you’ve gotta feed the machine! I make enough protein shake so that I can have some extra after my workout along with two eggs and whole-wheat toast.” Her advice on staying beautiful inside and out? “The goal is to make the majority of your decisions good for your body. So listen to your body, and treat it like your temple.”
