Hollywood star Halle Berry got her career start in the late 1980s, playing Emily Franklin in the TV series Living Dolls. She next appeared as Debbie Porter in the show Knots Landing. In 1991, she made her debut in the movie Jungle Fever. She has since had roles in the films Strictly Business, Boomerang, The Flintstones, and Losing Isaiah. Her career flourished in the 2000s, first becoming known for her portrayal of Storm in X-Men. She next starred in the film Swordfish. Her performance in the movie Monster’s Ball won her an Academy Award for Best Actress.

She next played Bond girl Giacinta ‘Jinx’ Johnson in Die Another Day. She later reprised her role as Storm in X2 and X-Men: The Last Stand. Other films in the 2000s are Gothika, Perfect Stranger, and Things We Lost in the Fire. She even played the titular character in the film Catwoman. In the 2010s, she starred in the movies Frankie & Alice, New Year’s Eve, Cloud Atlas, Kidnap, Kingsman: The Golden Circle, and Kings. She will star in the 2019 upcoming film John Wick: Chapter 3. From 2014 to 2015, she also played lead role Molly Woods in the short-lived series Extant.

The actress maintains her slender figure and healthy body by sticking to a clean diet plan. Having been diagnosed with diabetes when she was 19, Berry has since learned how to eat healthily. To get better and healthier, she avoided processed sugar and cut bread from her diet. Up until now, she eats clean and her diet mostly consists of vegetables and drinking lots of water.

“My diet is geared towards managing my diabetes, so I try to eat four small meals a day. I like to feel strong and healthy,” she said. She went on to say: “I started to eat loads of wonderful fresh vegetables, chicken, fresh fish, and pasta. I cut out red meat and cut back on fruit because it can contain quite a lot of sugar.”
