Biography:

Freya Mavor was born on 13 August 1993 in Glasgow, Scotland. At age 10, she thought of becoming an actress after watching Stanley Kubrick’s The Shining. She has studied in France and England. In 2008, she joined the National Youth Theatre. In 2011, she made her debut as Mini McGuinness on the British series Skins. She appeared on the show’s 18 episodes.

She was also nominated for a TV Choice Award for Best Actress for her role here. After this, she appeared as Princess Elizabeth of York in three episodes of The White Queen. She next appeared as Beth Fanshawe in four episodes of New Worlds. She has also made her film debut in the 2013 feature Not Another Happy Ending. She has since had roles in the movies Sunshine on Leith, Cézanne and I, and The Sense of an Ending.
