Fan Bingbing is a Chinese actress, model, and singer. She first came to prominence in East Asia during the ’90s with the TV show My Fair Princess. In 2003, her performance in the movie Cell Phone cemented her to stardom. She has since starred in many successful Chinese films, including Lost in Beijing, Buddha Mountain, Double Xposure, and I Am Not Madame Bovary. With her massive success in China and other parts of Asia, she soon ventured into Hollywood, most notably joining the cast of the superhero film X-Men: Days of Future Past. She also starred in the French film Stretch and the Korean feature My Way. In 2018, she was charged with tax evasion, for which she was fined about $127.4 million.
