Emily Mortimer Diet Plan

Emily Mortimer

English actress Emily Mortimer had her career beginnings in the mid-1990s. During her career start, she appeared in the films The Ghost and the Darkness, The Last of the High Kings, and The Saint. She appeared as Kat Ashley in the movie Elizabeth and in Notting Hill. She continued her career in the 2000s. During this period, she portrayed Diana, Princess of Wales in the TV movie Jeffrey Archer: The Truth. She also starred in the films Scream 3, The 51st State, Dear Frankie, and Match Point. She next played Nicole Durant in The Pink Panther and its sequel. In the 2010s, she had roles in Shutter Island, Hugo, and Our Idiot Brother. She also became known for her role as Mackenzie McHale in the HBO series The Newsroom. She went on to star in Doll & Em, a show she also wrote and created.

The 46-year-old actress stays in shape by trying her best to stick to a healthy lifestyle. One of the things she does is choose the food that she eats. In general, she tries to stay away from processed and junk foods. Nonetheless, she knows how to enjoy her food. In an interview, she said her ideal food day would be: “Fried eggs and bacon for breakfast. Lunch at a restaurant with my husband, somewhere French feeling. Lunch out always feels more illicit and like more of a treat in a way. A cup of tea at about 4pm with a bit of fruit cake. Dinner would be at home cooked by my Mum with me, my family, my sister and all of her family there.”

When asked how she practice beauty from the inside out, she said: “I eat lots of different things. I love cooking, so we have lots of home-cooked meals, but I also have a weakness for classic, old-fashioned restaurants like The River Café. My Dad always said there is no problem so big or heart so broken that it can’t be fixed by dinner in a nice restaurant with a linen table cloth and a glass of champagne.”
