Biography:

Elena Anaya was born on July 17, 1975 in Palencia, Castilla y León, Spain. She made her acting debut in the Spanish film África, which was released in 1996. The rest of the ’90s saw her appear in other Spanish movies. In 2001, she gained notice for her role in the Spanish film Sex and Lucia. Her first role in a Hollywood movie was in 2004’s Van Helsing.

In 2006, she starred in the Spanish film Alatriste starring Viggo Mortensen. She next starred in the romantic comedy film In the Land of Women. She continued her Hollywood career in the 2010s. She had roles in the films Point Blank and Room in Rome. She then gained further attention for her role in the film The Skin I Live In. She recently starred as Isabel Maru in the movie Wonder Woman.
