Hollywood star Denise Richards had her acting beginnings during the 1990s. Initially, she had one-episode roles in such TV shows as Life Goes On, Doogie Howser, M.D., Beverly Hills, 90210, and Seinfeld, among others. Meanwhile, she made her cinematic debut in the 1993 film Loaded Weapon 1. She later had roles in the movies Lookin’ Italian, Tammy and the T-Rex, and Nowhere. She next starred as Carmen Ibanez in Starship Troopers, for which she was nominated for a Blockbuster Entertainment Award for Favourite Female Newcomer.

In 1998, she co-starred in the film Wild Things, gaining her wider recognition. The following year, she played Dr. Christmas Jones in the James Bond film The World Is Not Enough. In the 2000s, she played Jennifer Duncan in 4 episodes of Spin City. She next joined the main cast of the short-lived series Sex, Love & Secrets. She eventually ventured into reality TV, starring on her own show Denise Richards: It’s Complicated. In the 2010s, she played Debra Simon in the sitcom Blue Mountain State and starred as Karen Desai on the TV show Twisted. As of 2019, she appears on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Her recent work in the movies was in 2018’s horror film The Toybox.

The 48-year-old actress stays in shape by taking care of herself through healthy eating. In an interview, she got candid about her diet plan. “My diet is 80 percent vegetarian and I eat all day long. I have lots of little meals; it’s best for me. I found eating three big meals I felt too full and got tired especially after lunch,” said the actress. “I eat lots of fruit, veggies, egg whites, oatmeal, a little chicken, eggs, rice — that’s mostly my diet. I do splurge on ice cream and I love pretzels,” she continued. Moderation is also part of her dieting habits.
