Daniel Di Tomasso was born on January 30, 1983 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Prior to his acting career, he was a successful model who worked with such brands as L’Oréal, Vichy, Armani, and Azzaro. In 2012, he made his acting debut with a one-time role on Beauty and the Beast. He next appeared in an episode of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.

His first notable role on television was as Killian Gardiner on Witches of East End. After this, he made his film debut in How Sarah Got Her Wings, followed by another movie, Blood is Blood. In 2016, he appeared as Noah on the NBC series Timeless. He became further known for playing Detective Wes Nolan on TNT’s Major Crimes, which he starred in from 2016 to 2018. As of 2018, he plays Lieutenant Zach Torbett on Chicago Fire.
