Cindy Margolis was born on October 1, 1965 in Los Angeles, California, U.S.. She started her career as a model where she appeared on both print and television ads. This eventually led her to appear on television on shows. In 1997, she made her debut in the movie Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery.

She next appeared in the film Chairman of the Board the following year. In 2000, she hosted her own show called The Cindy Margolis Show. She went on to appear as herself on the TV series Ally McBeal. She took a long break from acting afterwards. She only returned in the 2010s where she appeared on the reality shows Seducing Cindy and Beverly Hills Nannies.
