Cary Elwes is an English actor. He started his acting career in the 1980s with roles in Another Country, Oxford Blues, and The Bride. He next portrayed Guilford Dudley in the movie Lady Jane. His first notable role on the big screen was in 1987’s The Princess Bride. He next starred in the movies Glory and Days of Thunder. In the ’90s, he portrayed the titular role in Robin Hood. He also appeared as Lord Arthur Holmwood in Bram Stoker’s Dracula. He went on to star in the films The Jungle Book, Twister, Kiss the Girls, and Cradle Will Rock. In the 2000s, he starred as Dr. Lawrence Gordon in Saw. Other films are Ella Enchanted, American Crime, and Georgia Rule. On television, he starred on the shows The Art of More and Life in Pieces.
