Bill Murray is an American actor. His first notable screen appearance was on Saturday Night Live in the 1970s. He later made his cinematic debut in the 1979 film Meatballs. In the 1980s, he gained prominence for his works in the films Caddyshack, Stripes, Tootsie, Ghostbusters, Scrooged, and Ghostbusters II. His performance in 2003’s Lost in Translation earned him an Oscar nomination for Best Actor. He later starred in the films Garfield: The Movie, Zombieland, and Get Low. In the 2010s, he had roles in the movies Hyde Park on Hudson, The Monuments, Men, and The Grand Budapest Hotel, among others.
