Biography:

Barkha Bisht Sengupta was born on December 28, 1979 in Hisar, Haryana, India. Her career on the small screen began with her debut in the television show Kitni Mast Hai Zindagi. This was followed by the Star Plus show Pyaar Ke Do Naam: Ek Raadha, Ek Shyaam.

She also became known for her role as Arpita in the series Kkavyanjali and has since appeared in other programs like Babul Ki Bitiya Chali Doli Saja Ke and Sajan Ghar Jaana Hai.

In 2010, she made special appearances in item numbers for the movies Raajneeti and Dui Prithibi. She has also starred in the Bengali film Ami Shubhash Bolchi (2011) and in the Hindi film Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela (2013).
