Indian actress Amrita Rao is began her acting career in the early 2000s. Establishing her career in Hindi cinema, she made her film debut in Ab Ke Baras. This was released in 2002 and got her significant attention. For her work here, she got a Filmfare Best Female Debut Award nomination. Her starring performance in Vivah gained her wider prominence. For the rest of the 2000s, audiences saw her starring in such movies as Heyy Babyy, Welcome to Sajjanpur, Shaurya and Life Partner. She was also nominated for the Best Supporting Actress at the Filmfare for her role in Main Hoon Na. She continued her productive career in the 2010s. During this period, she starred in the movies Love U…Mr. Kalakaar! and Singh Saab the Great, among others. Amrita has even ventured into Telugu cinema. Her debut was in the movie Athidhi.

The 35-year-old actress may already be in her mid 30s, but she looks radiant and youthful as ever. This is because the acclaimed star practices a healthy lifestyle. Aside from following a fitness routine, she also eats right regularly. She makes sure that eats a balanced diet always. She understands the significance of proper nutrition. This is especially more important among people who are in the crucial age as their metabolism slows down. For the actress, focusing on foods that are rich in vitamins and minerals.

The actress is a vegetarian. She starts her day with 2 glasses of lukewarm water. For breakfast, she typically has theplas and parathas. She drinks a glass of fresh juice as well for breakfast and sometimes ghar ka khana, too. For lunch, she has two chapattis, green vegetables, sabzi and dal with rice. She eats the same for dinner. In an interview, she added: “I love to eat mushrooms and cabbage. I am not a party person so I am faithful to my mom’s khana (food). Before I go to sleep, I drink a glass of milk, which not only provides me with a good, sound sleep, but also supplements me with all the required ingredients!”
