Amanda Hale is a British actress. She started her career performing in theater. In 2007, she had her first television role in the TV film Persuasion. Later in 2009, she made her cinematic debut in the film Bright Star. In the 2010s, she initially made one-time roles in such shows as Murderland, Spooks, and The Crimson Petal and the White. Hale then played the role of Emily Reid in Ripper Street. In 2013, she portrayed Margaret Beaufort in the miniseries The White Queen. She also played Lady Mary in Being Human, as well as acted in the biographical film The Invisible Woman. She recently played recurring character Catherine in the sitcom Catastrophe. Last year, she played a small role in the film Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.
