Hollywood star Aimee Carrero got her career start in the late 2000s. She made her acting debut in a short film. In 2009, she had her first television appearance in an episode of Hannah Montana. At the same time, she also had her first movie role in Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel. She later played Sylvia Torres in four episodes of Lincoln Heights. From 2012 to 2013, she became known for her role as Angie in the TV series Level Up.

Simultaneously, she played Jude in the TV film Blue Lagoon: The Awakening. She later played Lucia in four episodes of the acclaimed series The Americans. She became further known for starring as Sofia Rodriguez in the series Young & Hungry, a role she still plays up to present. In 2016, she started voicing the lead role of Princess Elena in the Disney series Elena of Avalor. Also in the 2010s, she had roles in the films Devil’s Due and The Last Witch Hunter. She will also play the lead in the upcoming animated series She-Ra and the Princesses of Power.

The 30-year-old actress stays in shape by sticking to an active lifestyle. She tries her best to workout on a regular basis as this helps her not only to maintain her healthy weight but also makes her stronger. If she’s not able to exercise, she makes it up by other basic activities such as walking, especially when doing some errands. So, what’s her workout routine like? In an interview, she said:

“First of all, let’s talk workout gear: I LOVE patterns! A great patterned sports bra and a matching pair of capris will inspire any girl to get moving. As far as exercises go, I love a good arm and abs workout! My hand weights and yoga mat help me get in some quick exercises before chowing down on a light snack—pizza!”
