Biography:

Adam Sandler was born on September 9, 1966 in Brooklyn, New York. He attended New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts where he nurtured his comedic talent and graduated in 1988.

His first television appearance was as Smitty in The Cosby Show while his film debut was in the 1989 movie Going Overboard. He then gained notice after he was cast as a featured player in Saturday Night Live.

He then went on to achieve a prolific career in the big screen with starring roles in such films as The Wedding Singer, Mr. Deeds, and Punch-Drunk Love, for which he received a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actor.
