Biography:

Abhishek Bachchan was born on February 5, 1976 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. He made his acting debut in the 2000 film Refugee, for which he received a nomination for Filmfare Award Best Male Debut.

In 2004, he rose to fame for his role as ACP Jai Dixit in the action thriller Dhoom, the first movie in the Dhoom series. That same year, he received much acclaim for his work in the film Yuva.

He has since received three Filmfare awards for acting, a National Award for being a producer, and was named as one of the highest paid actors in Bollywood in 2010.
