Biography:

Ajay Devgan was born on April 2, 1969 in New Delhi, India. His father is director and action choreographer Veeru Devgan. He started his career as a child actor, appearing in the film Pyari Behna.

Six years later, he started his professional career by starring in the 1991 film Phool Aur Kaante, for which he received the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut.

He gained further acclaim for his role in the 1998 movie Zakhm, and for his work he earned his first National Film Award for Best Actor.

He has since won several awards in the course of his career, including two National Film Awards.
