Biography:

Zoë Kravitz was born on December 1, 1988 in Los Angeles, California. Her mother is actress Lisa Bonet and her father is musician Lenny Kravitz.

She studied at the acting conservatory at the State University of New York but she left after a year to work in films.

She made her acting debut in the 2007 film No Reservations. That same year, she had a part in the action thriller The Brave One, starring Jodie Foster.

She went on to play the character Angel Salvadore in the superhero film X-Men: First Class in 2011, and co-starred with Will and Jaden Smith in After Earth.
