Biography:

Vidya Malvade was born on March 2, 1972 in Maharashtra, India. She studied Law and worked as a flight attendant before venturing into acting. In 2003, she began her film career with the feature Inteha, playing the role of Nandini Saxena.

That same year, she landed a role in Footpath. She then gained wider fame for her portrayal of the character Vidya Sharma in the sports drama film Chak De! India.

She has since starred in a variety of motion pictures including Benaam, Kidnap, Tum Milo Toh Sahi, No Problem, Striker, Once Upon ay Time in Mumbai Dobaara!, Aap Ke Liye Hum, and 1920: Evil Returns.
