Biography:

Usher was born on October 14, 1978. He shot to fame in the late 1990s following the release of his second album My Way, which produced the Number 1 hit “Nice & Slow”. He later released his third album 8701, spawning the hit singles “U Remind Me” and “U Got It Bad”.

In 2004, he gained further fame for his album, Confessions. It sold over 10 million copies in the US, becoming the first album to to have the highest first week sales for an R&B artist in history.

It also produced the smash hits “Yeah!”, “Burn”, “Confessions Part II”, and “My Boo”. He has won multiple awards throughout his career as a recording artist, including eight Grammy Awards.
