Twinkle Khanna first came to prominence as an actress in Bollywood. She made her debut in the 1995 film Barsaat. For her first acting role, she won the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut. After this, she played the lead in the film Jaan, as well as starred alongside Saif Ali Khan in the movie Dil Tera Diwana. She then starred in the 1997 films Uff! Yeh Mohabbat and Itihaas, both of which failed to perform well at the box office.

The following year, she played the female lead opposite Salman Khan in the film Jab Pyaar Kisise Hota Hai, which was a commercial success. Khanna then worked with Akshay Kumar in the 1999 movies International Khiladi and Zulmi, though both films also didn’t do well commercially. The actress went on to venture in Telugu cinema with Seenu.

Before the 2000s, she also had performances in the Hindi films Baadshah and Yeh Hai Mumbai Meri Jaan. The following decade, the actress starred in a couple of Hindi movies, which include Mela, Joru Ka Ghulam, Jodi No.1, and Love Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega. Khanna has since ventured into producing. She was co-producer of such films as Dilwale and Pad Man.

Twinkle Khanna stays fit and radiant by sticking to a healthy lifestyle. She even practices small, healthy habits every day. “I start my day with a hot water and lemon routine,” said the celebrity. While she mostly prefers having healthy meals, she also understands the importance of balance.

That’s why she allows herself for some indulgence every now and then. “It is very important to maintain a balance even there. Sometimes I do give into a scoop of sitaphal ice cream from Naturals or a chocolate chip cookie,” shared the actress. As for her exercise routine, Khanna prefers going for walks instead of spending time working out in gyms.
