Tawny Cypress is an American actress. She made her Hollywood debut in the 2000 film Autumn in New York. She later had recurring roles in Third Watch, 100 Centre Street, All My Children, and Jonny Zero. She became further known for her role as Simone Deveaux in Heroes. She next starred as Ginger ‘Love Tap’ LeBeau in K-Ville, as well as played recurring character Carla in Rescue Me. During this period, she also had roles in the films Bella and Brooklyn’s Finest. In the 2010s, she played Carly Heath in House of Cards, Cherie Rollins-Murray in Unforgettable, and Nez Rowan in The Blacklist. Her latest television role was in Lincoln Rhyme: Hunt for the Bone Collector.
