Biography:

Stacy Martin was born on 1 January 1991 in Paris, France. She grew up in France and later lived in Japan. She returned to France during her early teens. Upon her school completion, she went to London to become an actress. There, she worked as a model to finance her studies. She enrolled at the London College of Communication where she studied Media and Cultural Studies.

She went on to study acting at the Actors’ Temple where she trained in Meisner technique. In 2013, she made her cinematic debut as the young Joe in the movie Nymphomaniac. She was instantly noticed for her performance in the film, earning her nominations. Her next movie came two years later with Tale of Tales. That same period, she also starred in the films The Lady in the Car with Glasses and a Gun, The Childhood of a Leader, Taj Mahal, and High-Rise.
