Hollywood actress Shelley Hennig started her acting career in the mid-2000s. Her debut was in the soap opera Passions in 2004. This was around the same time that she won the Miss Teen USA title. Her first starring role was as Stephanie Johnson in another soap opera, Days of Our Lives. Her role on the said show earned her recognition among television viewers.

After her stint in Days of Our Lives ended in 2011, she joined the main cast of the The CW series The Secret Circle. She next had a recurring role in the show Zach Stone Is Gonna Be Famous. More recently, she’s best known for playing Malia Tate in the series Teen Wolf. She also ventured into film with roles in Unfriended, Ouija, and About Scott. She next starred in the movies Summer of 8 and Roman J. Israel, Esq. Her latest work on the small screen was in the show Liberty Crossing.

The 31-year-old actress stays in shape by sticking to an active lifestyle. Though she’s not a fan of working out, she makes the effort to keep her body moving. In an interview, the Teen Wolf star shared about her fitness regimen. She said: “I work out at a place called Cardio Barre with Molly Burnett (Melanie). I try to go four or five times a week. There’s a ballet bar, and they play music. What you’re doing is fast ballet movements. So it’s a lot of cardio work and ballet form, which I love.”

Describing what the class is like, she said: “It’s an hour long, and there are 30 people in the room. We all have our own space working at the ballet bar. You get to stretch at the end. If I ever decided to start dancing professionally again, I could do it in a heartbeat, thanks to this class. I have my strength back now, as well as my flexibility.”
