Australian model and actress Ruby Rose is now a well-known celebrity even in Hollywood. She first gained mainstream attention as a presenter on MTV Australia, a gig she did from 2007 to 2011. This led her to book major modeling work, such as becoming the face of Maybelline New York in her native Australia. She then co-hosted Australia’s Next Top Model. Following this, she also secured a co-hosting work for The Project, as well as hosted the program Ultimate School Musical. In 2013, she pursued acting, debuting in the Australian film Around the Block. She next appeared in an episode of the Canadian series Dark Matter.

Her first notable role was as Stella Carlin on the Netflix series Orange Is the New Black, which she played from 2015 to 2016. After this, she played Abigail in the Hollywood film Resident Evil: The Final Chapter. She became further known for starring as Adele Wolff in xXx: Return of Xander Cage. For her role, she received Teen Choice nominations. During this period, she also had notable roles in the movies John Wick: Chapter 2 and Pitch Perfect 3. Her latest role was in 2018’s The Meg. She will also reprise her role as Ares in John Wick 3: Parabellum. Back on television, she portrayed Kate Kane / Batwoman in Arrow, The Flash, and Supergirl.

The 32-year-old actress stays in shape by following a vegan diet. Her skinny figure has also led some of her fans to speculate that she has anorexia. In her defense, she explained that her vegan diet, alcohol-free lifestyle, and the training she did for the action films she starred in had contributed to her changing body. “My body is just my body it fluctuates and it changes depending on how hard I train,” said Rose. “I am plant based and stupidly healthy. So please take care of your body and your mind and your soul and stop judging others.”
