Rhea Chakraborty was born on July 1, 1988 in Ambala, India. She joined MTV India’s TVS Scooty Teen Diva in 2009, and finished as a runner up in the show.

She then auditioned for the MTV VJ spot and got the part. She has hosted MTV shows including Pepsi MTV Wassup, Gone in 60 Seconds, Fantastic Five and TicTac College Beat Teacher’s Aquanoon Party.

She has also ventured into movies, appearing in Tuneega Tuneega, Mere Dad Ki Maruti, and in the upcoming film Sonali Cable.
