Indian star Rani Mukerji who’s acting began as soon as she made her debut in her father’s Bengali language film Biyer Phool. With the encouragement of her mother, she accepted the leading part in Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat. After this she decided to pursue full-time acting. She was then noticed for her supporting part in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. She won the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in this movie. However, she did not find much success in the next few years. Fortunately in 2002 she starred in Saathiya, which gave her significant attention. For her role in the romantic comedy Hum Tum, she cemented her fame. She also won the Filmfare Award for Best Actress for this. This was followed by the dramatic features Yuva and Veer-Zaara. In the 2010s, she gave acclaimed performances in Talaash: The Answer Lies Within and Mardaani.

The 38-year-old actress has a healthy and slender figure that she sustains through healthy living. As she’s aging, she values the importance of eating right and exercising more. She feels that as she practices a balanced diet, the stronger and happier she becomes. That’s why focusing on a healthy lifestyle is not something that’s hard for her. Being a prolific actress in India, she needs all the strength she can get in order to keep on acting. Thus, she focuses on eating lean proteins and fruits and vegetables. She avoids eating processed and junk foods. She drinks plenty of water to keep her hydrated as well.

In the morning, she starts her day with a glass of fresh juice or milk. She prefers aloe vera juice. She also eats a banana, too. For lunch, she has a single roti with some dal with some salad. She then has her dinner early, as much as possible before 8:30 pm. She usually has boiled vegetables with one roti. She prefers lighter meals for dinner. It is also ideal for her to have small meals every 4 hours. This is an effective way for to avoid feeling hungry.
