Rachel Brosnahan Workout Routine

Rachel Brosnahan

It was in 2009 that Rachel Brosnahan started her Hollywood career. This was when she had a supporting role in the movie The Unborn. Afterwards, she made guest appearances on such TV shows as Mercy, Gossip Girl, The Good Wife, and In Treatment. In 2013, she had a role in the movie Beautiful Creatures. At the same time, she gained prominence for her role as Rachel Posner on House of Cards. The role proved to be vital in her career as this also earned her a Primetime Emmy nomination. While on House of Cards, she also played notable roles on the shows The Blacklist and Black Box, and Manhattan. In 2016, she starred on the miniseries Crisis in Six Scenes. This year, she will play the lead in the TV series The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. She also portrayed Jessica Kensky in the movie Patriots Day.

The acclaimed actress certainly practices beauty inside and out. Aside from eating healthy and practicing moderation, she also exercises just enough to keep her body in shape and strong. Though she also admits that it’s hard to set a workout routine because she travels a lot for her job as an actress. In an interview, she said: “I’d like to be exercising more right now, but I’ve been traveling a lot and have found it difficult to establish a routine that I enjoy on the go. I feel better when I get an additional hour or so of sleep, as opposed to waking up earlier to hit the gym, so I trust that and steal extra sleep where I can. I love to be outside and have two energetic dogs so we walk a lot. When I have the time, I enjoy Soul Cycle and yoga.”

She also confessed to being not fond of going to the gym. She said: “I really hate going to the gym, so I like to do things outside where I can. Hiking and yoga are probably my go-to workouts. But sometimes I like to take classes that kick my butt. When it’s torture it feels like it’s working. The only thing I think is overrated is working out every single day. If you love it, go for it, but nobody should HAVE to do that.”
