Rachel Brosnahan had her career beginnings in the late 2000s. Her debut was in the movie The Unborn. In the 2010s, she became more prolific on television. During this period, she made several guest appearances on many shows. She then gained attention for starring as Genevieve Duchannes in the movie Beautiful Creatures. Around the same time, she became known for her role as Rachel Posner on House of Cards. For her role here, she got a nomination for Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series. She next had recurring characters on the shows The Blacklist, Black Box, and Crisis in Six Scenes. She also joined the main cast of the short-lived series Manhattan. This year, she starred as the title character on The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.

The 27-year-old actress maintains a healthy body by making efforts to eat healthily. For one, she starts her day right with a healthy breakfast. In an interview, she said about her morning eating habit, “Gluten-free toast with avocado and a poached egg on top.” Because she tries to be healthy most of the time, she focuses on consuming nutritious foods. That’s why she goes for smoothies and salads.

She said: “My perfect smoothie is spinach and kale with pineapple, blackberries, mango, banana, and peach. It doesn’t even taste green. My favorite salad is mixed greens with red pepper, corn, red onion, and quinoa with a creamy balsamic dressing.” In general, she eats healthily as means of practicing beauty from the inside and out. She was noted for saying: “I try to eat organic and local foods when possible and I like the way I feel when I get plenty of greens, but I also love to eat and I try not to deprive myself of things I’m craving, even if it’s not always the healthiest choice. Moderation is key.”
