R. H. Thomson
R. H. Thomson is a Canadian actor. His career spans decades, starting in the 1979 film Jigsaw. On TV, his first role was in the television movie An American Christmas Carol. In the ’80s, he had roles in the films Ticket to Heaven, Surfacing, If You Could See What I Hear, and Vision Quest. In 1985, he played the titular character in the movie Samuel Lount. When the 1990s came, he became widely known for starring as Jasper Dale in the Canadian series Road to Avonlea. Later in 2002, he portrayed politician Mitchell Sharp in the TV miniseries Trudeau. His latest film role was in 2018’s Clara. He also recently starred as Harry Copeland in the TV drama Anne with an E.
