Biography:

Polly Shannon was born on September 1, 1973 in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. Her first television appearance was in Are You Afraid of the Dark?. She then played the role of Nina Moore in Catwalk.

She became known for her appearances in such shows as Sirens, Ready or Not, Side Effects and The Hunger. In 2002, she was cast as Joanne in the film Men with Brooms.

That same year, she gained wider recognition for her portrayal of Margaret Trudeau in the miniseries Trudeau. She has also starred in the television movies Stone Cold and Jesse Stone: Night Passage.
