Biography:

Oona Chaplin was born on June 4, 1986 in Madrid, Spain. She is the granddaughter of Charlie Chaplin. She began to study salsa, flamenco, ballet at a young age and started to study drama at Gordonstoun in Scotland on a scholarship.

She was then accepted at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and graduated in 2007. Following her graduation, she performed in British and Spanish feature and short films. In 2008, she landed a minor role in Quantum of Solace.

On television, she became known for her role as Marnie Madden in the British television series The Hour and Talisa Maegyr in the HBO series Game of Thrones.
