Hollywood star Monica Raymund had her career beginnings in 2008. This was when she debuted in an episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. Shortly after, she successfully auditioned for the part of Maria “Ria” Torres in the Fox series Lie to Me. She played the said role from 2009 to 2011, gaining her mainstream recognition.

After this ended, she guest-starred in an episode of Blue Bloods. She also played recurring character Dana Lodge in the CBS series The Good Wife, making her a more familiar face on the small screen. She next had her first feature film role in 2012’s Arbitrage. Between 2012 and 2018, Raymund became further known for starring as Gabriela Dawson in the NBC series Chicago Fire.

Her long-term stint on the show increased her status as a television star. At the same time, she had performances in the independent films Brahmin Bulls and Happy Baby. She also guest-starred in Body of Proof and Special Skills. The actress reprised her role as Gabriela Dawson in Chicago P.D. and Chicago Med. It was announced recently that she’ll play the lead Jackie Quinones in the upcoming Starz series Hightown.

Monica Raymund is health conscious that’s why she makes sure she only eats healthily. Her diet plan usually consists of foods high in proteins and fiber. With this, her meals are typically composed of brown rice or quinoa, fish or chicken, with lots of salad on the side. She also snacks on plenty of fruits in the morning and in the afternoon.

Snacking on nutritious options like fruits and almonds make her feel full for longer, which helps her avoid to binge-eat. Every now and then, she also craves for something less healthy. In this case, she lets herself have whatever she wants as long as she minds her portion.
