Dustin Milligan was born on July 28, 1985 in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, Canada. In 2004, he made his debut in two episodes of The Days. His first role in a movie was in The Long Weekend in 2005. The following year, he became known for his performances in Final Destination 3 and Slither. He also starred in the direct-to-DVD movie The Butterfly Effect 2.

Meanwhile, his first regular role on television was as Henry Rader/Jason Holland on Runaway. He then became known for his role as Ethan Ward on 90210. In 2009, he was noted for his performance in the film Extract. In the 2010s, he starred in the features Shark Night, Sisters & Brothers, and No Clue, among others. In 2015, he started playing the recurring role of Ted Mullens on the TV series Schitt’s Creek. He also starred as Tom Cummings on X Company.
