Mark Hamill is an American actor. His career began in the 1970s, rising to fame for his role as Luke Skywalker in 1977’s Star Wars. During this period, he also starred as Doobie Wheeler on the TV series The Texas Wheelers. He has since reprised his roles in the sequels The Empire Strikes Back (1980) and Return of the Jedi (1983). During the 1990s, he starred in the films Sleepwalkers, Midnight Ride, The Guyver, Time Runner, Village of the Damned, and Laserhawk, among others. He also played the voice of Joker in the animated series Batman: The Animated Series. In the 2000s, he mostly starred in direct-to-video films and worked as a voice actor in several animated shows. He recently reprised his role as Luke Skywalker in 2015’s Star Wars: The Force Awakens and 2017’s Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
