Biography:

Marisa Petroro was born on 11 February 1972 in Elizabeth, New Jersey, US. As a child, she joined beauty contests. By the time she was eight she was already taking acting classes. In 1997, she went to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting. She made her professional acting debut by appearing in an episode of the TV show Ned and Stacey.

Subsequently, she made guest appearances on multiple TV shows. This includes Rescue 77, The Pretender, The Young & the Restless, According to Jim, Reno 911!, Las Vegas, Scrubs, and Rules of Engagement. She also had notable guest appearances on Desperate Housewives and Franklin & Bash, as well as a recurring part on Dexter. In 2012, she appeared as Amber Raines on Drop Dead Diva.
