Biography:

Marisa Abela was born on 8 December 1996 in Brighton, United Kingdom. She trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. She initially made her first acting role at an early age, in the 2008 film Man in a Box. She returned to acting only recently, starring as Ellie Sutherland in the TV series Cobra.

That same time in 2020, she had a performance in the film Five Dates. Abela gained wider recognition recently after she got one of the main roles in the HBO and BBC Two series Industry. On the show, she plays the role of Yasmin Kara-Hanani.
