Lauren Jauregui is an American singer. In 2012, she auditioned in the US version of The X Factor for its second season. She failed to make it as a solo artist, which prompted her to be placed in a group with other female contestants. The group was later named Fifth Harmony. They finished third in the competition and subsequently signed with a label. They released their first extended play Better Together in 2013. Two years later, they released their first album Reflection. In 2016, they released their second album 7/27. Their third and latest album, Fifth Harmony, was released in 2017 as a foursome with Camila Cabello leaving the group.
