Biography:

Kierston Wareing was born on January 7, 1976 in Leigh-on-Sea, Essex, England. Her first television appearance was as Tina Adams in an episode of the television series Wire in the Blood in 2007.

That same year, she starred as Angela in It’s a Free World…, for which she received a BAFTA Award nomination for Best Actress. She garnered her second BAFTA nomination for Best Supporting Actress in the 2009 film Fish Tank.

She then made a prolific career on television starting with recurring roles in such shows as The Runaway, The Shadow Line, and Luther. She also stars as Kirsty Branning in the series EastEnders.
