Later in 2015, he made his acting debut playing the lead role of Suraj Kaushik in the Bollywood film Hero. For his performance, he won the Best Male Debut at the Filmfare Awards. He next appeared in the music video of the song “GF BF”. Just this year, he starred in the 2019 film Satellite Shankar with him playing the lead part. He also starred in the music video of Rahul Jain’s song “Dim Dim Lights”.
